What services do you offer?

Central West End Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both urgent care cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our surgeons are well versed in non-routine procedures as well, such as mass removals, eye enucleations, and gastropexies, just to name a few. We also work with Gateway Veterinary Surgery to provide our patients with specialized orthopedic procedures. We can also accommodate routine grooming procedures such as nail trims, anal gland expression, and ear cleanings.

Are you taking new patients?

Yes, we are currently accepting new patients.

How can I schedule an appointment for my pet?

You can call our office at 314-320-0004 or you can request an appointment through our website or through our PetDesk app.

I just made an appointment, what should I bring?

Bring any/all of your pet’s records. These may be from another hospital, from a recent adoption, or from a stay at an emergency clinic. We will scan these records to your pet’s file.

My pet can sometimes be very nervous or even aggressive, what should I do?

No problem – let us know and we can schedule you at a time when the hospital is less busy. When you arrive, just give us a ring when you are in the parking lot and we’ll make sure to bring you in at a time when we can usher you and your pet directly into a room. That way, you can feel comfortable your pet is safe and sound before the Doctor arrives.
